Tyler discovered his passion for wake surfing at age 13. At his very first event, he didn’t land a single trick, however he had so much fun he was hooked! As his abilities grew, so did his ambitions. At 16, he earned his first world title in semi-pro skim, and a 2nd world title in the pro division at age 17. Since then he’s racked up three more world titles, and is one of the few riders dominating in skim, surf and foil divisions, cementing his status as one of the sport’s most elite athletes.

Additional accolades include earning Male Rider of the Year and Centurion Boats Athlete of the Year, plus representing Team USA at the inaugural IWWF World Wake Surf Championships in Hong King – where Tyler captured two individual gold medals and a third gold in the team event. When he’s not caring up the waves Tyler maintains an active lifestyle, snowboarding and specializing in content creation making YouTube videos on his channel @MotionSicknessSurf. Tyler earned a degree in Entrepreneurship from Grand Canyon University and as the owner of The Wake Surf Party will continue to innovate both on and off the water.
