JB ONeill

JB started wakeboarding in 2004 on Lake Travis. JB never really spent a lot of time competing, but instead he spent his time creating video parts of his riding. After multiple successful video parts that gained him the exposure needed to drive him forward into a successful watersports career. In 2020 he decided to start a new adventure by building a watersports YouTube channel with a goal to help grow our sport. Since starting his channel, JB has taught thousands of people to wakeboard and wakesurf through his online watersports tutorials. JB is continuing to create entertaining watersports content on his channel and has grown to become the largest and most watched towed watersports channel in the industry.

David OC

I am an Irish Pro Wakeboarder which is very unusual, specially considering how cold it is in Ireland. However, I feel like that has really allowed me to appreciate traveling around the world to wakeboard. Interestingly I don't come from a wakeboarding or waterskiing family. In fact, my mum only learned to waterski 4 years ago (in her 60s!). My neighbor had a boat and he taught me how to ski at 5 years old. I then started wakeboarding at 10, and almost immediately started competing. I was lucky to live in Orlando for a few years before deciding to move home to Ireland to focus on traveling, coaching, and most importantly filming! Throughout my teens and early 20s I spent my time traveling and competing IWWF World Circuit. I was lucky enough to have some great results, and make some amazing friends during this period. About 8 years ago I discovered YouTube, and that's where everything changed for me. I started filming long form tutorials, vlogs, and general watersport videos. I've been growing a reasonably large audience by sharing the fun I'm having on the water. I simply love wakeboarding and try my very best to share it with as many people as I can on the internet, as well as in person when possible.
